This gives you all the versatility of the proven FEC200 with the addition of high power exponential pulses. For exponential pulses up to the 10/1000, the station can produce 30KW, 1000A, or 300V whichever is the most limiting. The station can also include all of the usual FEC200 tests in the same test program.

Power Amplifier is used to amplify the output of the CS700A or CS701 signal generators. The 52 MHz bandwidth amplifier can swing 36Vpp with an output current up to 1A continuous. The CS1070 includes an internal inverting power supply to provide the negative rail, simplifying power supply requirements. The gain is fixed at x10 (20dB). The output voltage range is ±5V to ±18V and asymmetrical to +31, -5V for PSRR measurements right up to 30V as the input supply increases past 20V.

The main one being that it can run standalone up to 1500 program files copied from a PC or Mac. It is also possible to connect the F125 to a computer via a USB port and control it with the F100 3.0 software for MS-Windows in the same way our F150/155/105 operate from a PC. Program files written for our current F150/155/105 are compatible with the new F125.

This non-invasive test of winding resistance helps to pinpoint problems regarding windings in stator or rotor part of an electrical machine. A "stiff system" is a generating system that is of sufficient capacity or the generator is "small" in relation to the system grid, that the AC system voltage under impulse/step loading condition does not require forcing of the generator field to maintain the power grid voltage. Systems are designed with a standard unit service factor to operate within the +10% to -20% nominal voltage rating at 100% current rating.
